The Lead Transfer functionality allows dealerships to move a lead from one executive or branch to another. This process ensures proper lead ownership, balanced workload distribution, and uninterrupted customer engagement when responsibilities change.
This guide covers:
You will be redirected to the Enquiry Worksheet, where all active and open leads are displayed.
The system redirects to the Enquiry Details Screen containing complete lead information.
Within the Enquiry Details Screen:
The lead transfer section will open.
Provide all required transfer details before proceeding.
Select or specify the reason for transferring the lead.
Examples:
Update an appropriate reason for audit and tracking purposes.
Select the branch where the lead needs to be transferred.
This determines the destination branch ownership.
Select the executive who will become the new owner of the lead.
The selected executive will receive complete ownership and responsibility for future lead activities.
Example:
Select the required salesperson/executive from the available list.
After updating all required information:
Click:
Transfer
The system processes the transfer immediately.
Once the lead transfer is completed:
Lead visibility changes after transfer.
The transferred lead:
✔ Appears under the selected executive while transferring the lead.
✘ No longer appears under the previous owner's lead list.
Lead transfers may be required when:
Pre-Sales → My Leads → Select Lead → Transfer → Update Transfer Reason → Select Branch → Select Executive → Transfer
You have successfully completed the Lead Transfer process in DMS. This functionality helps dealerships
