RSA Sale in Gain DMS: A Step-by-Step Guide

Overview

RSA can be sold against a respective vehicle/customer by selecting the chassis and configuring the required RSA details. Once the RSA sale is completed, the RSA coverage gets associated with the customer and vehicle.

Steps to Create an RSA Sale

Step 1: Navigate to RSA Sale

1. Login to Gain DMS.
2. Click on Sales.
3. Select RSA Sale.

The RSA Sale Worksheet screen will open, displaying all previously sold RSA records.

Step 2: Create a New RSA Sale

1. Click on the Plus (+) button.

The RSA sale creation screen will open.

Step 3: Select Chassis Information

1. Enter or search for the Chassis for which RSA needs to be sold.
2. Select the required chassis.
3. Click Show.

The system automatically loads:

• Customer Information
• Vehicle Information
  

Step 4: Update RSA Sale Details

Fill in the required information:

Bill Mode

Select the billing type:

• Cash
• Credit

Choose the applicable billing mode based on the transaction.

RSA Type

1. Select the required RSA Type.

Once selected:

• From Date and To Date will automatically load.
• RSA validity period will be determined automatically.

Example:

• One-year RSA validity.

Sold By

Select the executive or user who is selling the RSA.

Odometer Reading

Enter the current Odometer Reading.

Important:
The odometer reading cannot be lower than the vehicle’s last service kilometer reading.

For example:

• Last Service Reading: 1000 km
• Allowed Reading: 1001 km or greater

Lower values will not be accepted.

Step 5: Apply Discount (Optional)

If required:

1. Enter the applicable discount amount.

This step is optional.

Step 6: Save RSA Sale

1. Verify all entered details.
2. Click Save.

The RSA sale will now be created successfully for the selected customer.

Important Notes

• Customer and vehicle information loads automatically after selecting the chassis.
• RSA validity dates are populated automatically based on the selected RSA type.
• Odometer reading must always be greater than the last service kilometer reading.
• Discount entry is optional.
• RSA can be billed through either Cash or Credit mode.

Result

RSA is successfully sold and linked to the respective customer and vehicle in Gain DMS.
