How to add a subsidy to a sale booking in Gain DMS: A Step-by-Step Guide


In many vehicle sales scenarios, customers may be eligible for government or dealer-supported subsidies. Identifying this eligibility and applying the subsidy at the right stage is crucial, as it directly impacts the final payable amount and overall deal structure.

🧭 Step 1: Navigate to Vehicle Sales

  1. Go to Sales
  2. Click on Vehicle Sales
  3. You will reach the Product Sales Worksheet

 

 


🔍 Step 2: Open Subsidy Screen

You can access the subsidy stage in two ways:

Option 1:

  • Click on “Subsidy Check” link against the booking

Option 2:

  1. Click on the Sale Code / Booking Number
  2. You will reach the Customer Centre Screen
  3. System will suggest next action as Subsidy Check

 


 

⚠️ Step 3: Check Eligibility (Pre-Requirement)

  • Subsidy eligibility is verified manually by the dealer
  • Only eligible bookings should proceed for subsidy

 

 


📄 Step 4: Upload Mandatory Documents

To apply subsidy, 3 documents are compulsory:

  1. PAN Card
  2. Aadhaar Card (Front Copy)
  3. Aadhaar Card (Rear Copy)

📌 You can upload these documents:

  • During Booking Entry, OR
  • In the File Upload Screen

 

 

✅ Step 5: Confirm Document Upload

  • Once uploaded successfully:
    • A Green Tick (✔) will appear for all 3 documents in the subsidy screen

 

 

 

🔎 Step 6: Verify Documents

Uploading alone is not enough — verification is mandatory

How to Verify:

  1. Go to File Upload Option
  2. Open Document Verification Screen
  3. For each document:
    • Mark as “OK” or “Not OK”
    • Add Remarks if needed

 

 


✅ Step 7: Confirm Document Verification

  • After verification:
    • All 3 documents should show Green Tick (✔)

⚠️ Important:

  • If even one document is not verified,
    👉 Subsidy cannot be applied

 

 


💰 Step 8: Apply Subsidy

  • Once all documents are:
    • Uploaded ✔
    • Verified ✔

👉 You can proceed to apply subsidy



📊 Step 9: Impact of Subsidy

  • After applying subsidy:
    • Total Payable Amount is reduced
    • Reduction is based on defined subsidy value in masters




🔄 Step 10: Next Action

  • After subsidy is applied:
    • System suggests next step → Add Services to Sale
