This document explains the step-by-step process of creating a DC (Dispatch Challan) for warranty batches in Gain DMS.
In the automobile dealership industry, once warranty claims are grouped into batches, the next operational step is to create a Dispatch Challan (DC). The DC process helps dealerships formally prepare warranty spare parts for dispatch to the OEM or warehouse for warranty verification and settlement.
The Warranty Control Center in Gain DMS provides a stage-based workflow to manage this process efficiently.
In automobile warranty operations, DC creation is important for:
Tracking dispatch of failed warranty parts
Maintaining OEM compliance
Generating packing documentation
Monitoring dispatch timelines
Ensuring warranty audit traceability
Managing critical and priority warranty cases
The DC process ensures proper documentation and physical movement tracking of warranty spare parts.
To create a DC for warranty batches:
Workshop → Warranty → Warranty Control Center
Before DC creation:
Warranty Claims are generated automatically
Claims are grouped into Batches
Batches move to:
Batches Awaiting DC Creation
DC is created for the batch
The process then moves to:
DC Awaiting eWay Bill
Inside the Warranty Control Center dashboard, users can monitor different warranty processing stages.
Relevant stages include:
| Stage | Purpose |
