  2. Claims are grouped into Batches

  3. Batches move to:

  4. DC is created for the batch

  5. The process then moves to:
    DC Awaiting eWay Bill

Step-by-Step Process to Create a DC

Step 1: Open Warranty Control Center

Navigate to:

Workshop → Warranty → Warranty Control Center

Locate the stage:

Batches Awaiting DC Creation

The system displays the number of pending batches.

Example:

  • Batches Awaiting DC Creation = 2

Click on this stage.





Step 2: View Pending Batches

The system opens the list of batches pending for DC creation.

The following details are displayed:

Print Options Available

Each batch provides two print options:

1. Warranty Tag

The Warranty Tag contains:

  • Service Job Number

  • Claim Number

  • Vehicle/Product Details

  • Chassis Information

  • Part Details

It includes all items available within the batch.




2. Packing Note

The Packing Note contains:

  • Only dispatch-required spare parts

  • Spare item details meant for physical shipment

This document is attached with the dispatched warranty parts.




Understanding Warranty Batch Details

Before creating a DC, users can review the complete batch information.

How to Open Batch Details

Click on the respective Batch Number.

This opens the:

Batch-Level Information

The screen displays:

For each claim inside the batch, the following details are displayed:

Users can manage claims directly from the Batch Detail screen.

Remove Claims from Batch

If required:

  • Specific claims can be deleted from the batch





Add More Claims to Batch

Users can click:

Add More Claims

This redirects to the claim selection screen where additional claims can be added into the existing batch.




Understanding Batch Type

The system identifies whether the batch contains:

  • Only Labor
    OR

  • Part and Labor

Example:

  • Part and Labor Batch

The system also displays:

  • Part Count

  • Labor Count

This helps users understand dispatch requirements before DC creation.




Viewing Warranty Tag

Users can click:

Print Warranty Tag

The Warranty Tag includes:

  • Vehicle details

  • Claim details

  • Spare details

  • Service job details

This document is generally attached along with warranty dispatch items.





Viewing Packing Note

Users can click:

Print Packing Note

The Packing Note contains:

  • Only dispatchable spare parts

  • Shipment-related item details

This is used during packaging and dispatch verification.
